Life drawing
May. 3rd, 2009 10:29 pmWe have optional life drawing classes on Tuesday afternoons now and Dave keeps trying to convince me to go to them. I didn't last week because I was so tired that I could barely keep my eyes open but now both him and Anna are on about how good it was and saying that I should definitely go this week.
I don't really like life drawing. It's alright... I don't hate it and I could probably use the practice, although anything I draw in those lessons never looks like I drew it. But the thing is, in all the time that I've been going to art college I have never had a male model and I know that the model on tuesday will be.
I don't want to see a naked man!
I know you're all laughing at that and thinking 'WTF it's not like it would be the first penis you ever saw, or even drew'! and that's true. I suppose I don't really have an excuse to be all embarrassed about it, but I am. Too immature, I guess. :P
Anyway, I watched the trailer for Broken Steel (Liberty Prime sounds scary, have they changed his voice or is it just me?!) and that's out on Tuesday so I think my mind has been made up for me. I considered not going to college at all, but I already promised the lecturer I'd have a book made up by then so I'm not going to stay home and play videogames.
I'm quite impressed with Dreamwidth so far. I was prepared for it to be too little, too late but it's really rather good. The cross-posting feature is a great idea and now that I've worked out how to get my layouts on here, I'm happy. $3 well spent! And I have a couple of invite codes going spare for anyone that wants one. ;D
